A leadership workshop was organized for some youth leaders of the Tamale Archdiocesan Catholic Youth Council (TACYC) and respective parishes.
The workshop took place on February 27, at the Catholic Youth Center in Tamale, Northern Region, brought together young adults made up of leaders and representatives of about 8 different parishes.
The facilitators took participants through separate sessions in which they discussed various topics aimed at discovering the leadership gifts they
possess, leadership styles and the need to balance responsibility and relationship needs of the groups they lead.
In smaller and larger groups, they identified their weaknesses and strengths and explored ways in which they can improve their leadership qualities to enable them to work effectively in groups. Through other practical means, they also learned how to enhance their
leadership skills as they commit to serving their respective youth apostolates in the Archdiocese.
The Archdiocesan Youth Chaplain Rev. Fr. Gerald Zienaa was present at the program and encouraged them to utilize their various talents as they journey together serving others.
Seventeen (17) youth leaders participated in the workshop
