Wa Zone: Training conducted on Community Building

The 4th training for volunteer facilitators in the Wa Zone was conducted from April 29 to May 2.

It took place at the Spiritual Renewal Centre in Wanye, a suburb of Wa, and focused on the Community Building unit of our programme. The 4-day training enabled the trainees to look at the task of building and sustaining genuine community life. The challenge of intercultural living was also explored.

Twenty-three (23) volunteers were trained. The various cluster teams in the zone were expected to hold step-down workshops for the benefit of the wider community in the Upper West Region.

They encouraged them to work hand-in-hand with all relevant partners in order to carry out the workshops.
