A Peace Forum was organized in Bolgatanga at the Catholic Social Centre, Thursday 26th August, 2021.
It was on the theme: “Peaceful Coexistence for Inclusive Development.”
The forum was chaired by Daniel Akanyani, Chairman of the Catholic Diocesan Justice & Peace Commission.
It brought together various stakeholders including: representatives of the National Peace Council, Regional Chief Imam, Police Commander, Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Anglicans, Presbyterians, National Youth Authority, CHRAJ and the NCCE.

Others are: Assembly Members, Justice & Peace Commission members, Youth and Opinion Leaders.
It forms part of activities being carried out under the Sahel Peace Initiative (SPI) of the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) with partnership from SELL Programme Ghana and other stakeholders.
It was aimed at consolidating peace in Ghana.
